Help please!!! RSS link “Error establishing a database connection”

Ok… what the heck? I installed feedwordpress, and it asks to update magpie. Me being an idiot decides ehh, why not? So I update magpie and go about setting up feedwordpress. All of a sudden, BAM rss feed no longer works correctly. So I reverted it back to the default wordpress version, and now I get that error message.
The site itself is fine… What is going on? I don’t see anywhere in the database where rss is referenced.
Help me please!
