Help, I tried to change something in my footer on the home page, it didn’t work so i put back the code to the way it was then all I got on everything I clicked was a blank page with: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘)’ in /home/content/47/9899547/html/wp-content/themes/Framed/theme_options.php on line 83
I have tried using the backup of wordpress I have within dropbox uploading it by filezilla, it didn’t work so I uninstalled and then reinstalled wordpress more than once without any change.
I have no idea whats wrong as I have reinstalled wordpress and nothing has changed.
    Please Help

  • You need to replace the theme_options.php file in your theme. You should be able to download a new copy of your theme and then replace that file using FTP or Cpanel.

Re-upload a fresh copy of the theme using FTP.

Thanks for the fast replies, I just tried to upload just the theme_options php, and then the framed theme and both did not work.

Try renaming your theme’s folder –

    wp-content
        themes
           Framed.HOLD

Ok I tried changing the name and it still doesn’t work. I even changed the theme to the standard wordpress theme and i still have the message.
If any one wants to log in as me and see the problem let me know because i’ve now had enough
    Thanks
