  • If you called the new header by a different name than the old you will have to make the corresponding change to the CSS file. The easiest thing to do is look at the dimensions of the default banner image and then replace that image with a new banner of the same size and name. Remember to also use the same extension – .jpg

Thanks, the thing is I uploaded and copied over the default image using my ftp upload for my site, so in my main control panel if I select revert for the default address and colors to post, I can see the new image I uploaded but on the site it is a blue square. Now if I change the colors to match my site or any other color it changes the blue square to whatever I want matching to my site etc.

The address of the default is the same, and the same size as the default so I dont know why it wont post on the site like it is viewed with the true address here https://northeastsurfing.com/wordpress/wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickheader.jpg If you visit the site you will now see the colors I added to change from the default to colors I decided. But If I select to the default image (light blue) it does not show, only a blue square that does not match the theme shape or color.

So I need a way to be able to revert to the default colors that I replaced with a new image I uploaded it over the default and get it to show on the site.

    Hey northeastsurfing,

I’m going to bump this for you as I noticed that it’s still not fixed and I couldn’t help you!
