HELP PLEASE! I cannot log in to WordPress

  • ftp to site or use host’s file manager and rename the /plugins folder
    this will deactivate all plugins and let you log in
    rename plugins folder back to normal and activate your plugins one by one until you find offender

    I need help too! I can’t log in to my site (I’m very new) and when I tried a password retrieve, I was told that I wasn’t an existing user. The site I’m working on is childwrite.net

    if you did a manual install – the user name is “admin”
    if you used a host one click install, the user name is whatever you chose

    to reset password, use one of these methods
