• Hi,

Just wondering what would be the best approach to make a page template that showed different boxes which is placed in the template code but still were editable. This is very usual to see on web pages:

    An example:

You can see lots of different boxes everywere with information. I can make the design, but how will the text be placed in the boxes and how will the editor enter the text?

Well, just thought it might exist a plugin or feature that I didn’t know of and someone maybe could hnit me in the right direction!

    Thanks/Jesper

  • working with categories, you could use one category to display in these boxes, and exclude this category from showing anywhere else.

you can then edit the content of the boxes by editing the posts with just the one category – say you have 5 boxes, you can show the last 5 post of the one category, each post in one box, using quite standard wordpress queries.

That seems to be a very smart Idea… I think I will try that =) Thank you!!

Any further ideas and hints of course still appreciated! Maybe there is an even easier way =)
