Help please..

  • Hello all,

    I’m after a bit help if possible. I’m using 1and1 and its taking the absolute biscuit trying to get wordpress installed on it. I have downloaded wordpess and changed the config file to all the details that I need to, and they are all correct. I have also uploaded everything through FileZilla, either to the root, or creating a directory (i normally just call it home) and when I try to go on https://www.betyouiwin.co.uk/wp-admin/install.php nothing works. I just get error 404. I’m really starting to lose my patience with it now.

    If you need to know anything else just ask. I think I have included everything here.

    nobody know how to help me with this then? surely someone does, or can point me to somewhere that has a fix?

    your not getting 404 error it is showing this page because your domain isn’t pointing to your name servers it is pointing to 1and1 default page which the domain betyouiwin.co.uk is just registered check your DNS.

    It looks like there’s a domain parking page up. Is your domain pointed to your hosting account? Make sure you point your domain to your hosting account using the nameservers that your host provides you. Then, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate.
