Site is down

  • Hi, I just got an email from a client that his site is down. This happened literally overnight. Can anyone help me out to figure out what happened? Was this hacked? I have not touched anything on this for a week to two with the site and have wordfence and malware plugins in place for hacking. Any help would be really appreciated. I can’t even login to the backend of wp at this point…

    – have you discussed this with the hosting provider in case if there is problem at their end (i.e., server etc.)?

    – Also, check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.

    Ok, thanks. I’ll call godaddy and see what they say. They are always very finite however when it comes to WP issues that it isn’t anything on their end. LOL But we’ll see… Thanks again.
