HELP on uploading entire folder to wp themes

  • I think I understand that I need to unzip theme and then upload to wp content then themes, however when i go to upload folder, it doesn’t let me. It opens individual files to upload, which would take a while. How do I get it to grab entire file to upload. I am using yahoo webhosting, which seems like it would let me upload a folder, but I am sure you know more than I do. Please help! Thanks in advance. – J

    How are you transfering the files, via FTP or are you using a Yahoo upload system of some sort?

    If the latter is true I recommend using an FTP instead. Assuming that Yahoo allows for this.

    I am not using an FTP client. I am simply using yahoo. Is there and easy FTP client to use, as I am a newbie and am not sure how to use one Thanks for replying.

    create a new folder and unzip the theme folder’s contents to the new folder, then just up the new folder. i don’t know about yahoo. just get a free ftp client like filezilla or something.
