Help! Not ‘respecting’ CPT UI “custom rewrite”

Hi!
What a blessing this plug in is!
The problem I’m facing is that it doesn’t respect the “custom rewrite slug” of CPT UI:

Is there anyway to get it to play nicely?
This way I’d be able to have my custom_rewrite_slug in the Better Permalink instead of the ugly CPT_SLUG.

Tbh I don’t understand:
Does not take into account Custom Rewrite Slug for taxonomy because it uses a Post Type service.
I guess this is an under-the-hood reference to how something is handled, which could be why this isn’t working properly for me.

That’s done.
I recreated our setup on your testing environment.
Initially, I was able to recreate the misbehaviour on first attempt.
Now, I’m seeing a new, different kind of misbehaviour where the Rewrite Rule is applied, but the URL gets mangled with a double-protocol. Like this:

I’m confident that if I re-setup from scratch, I can recreate the initial misbehaviour, but let me know how you wanna proceed ??
