Help! No option to turn off 'Related Posts' in Settings -> Reading
-
Hello,
I am new to WordPress (so please be clear), but am hosting a WordPress blog. Everything has been working correctly.
WordPress has automatically produced a related posts feature below my posts. I would like to to turn this option off. However, I have no option to do so under Settings -> Reading, as many online resources suggest. This article: https://en.support.wordpress.com/related-posts/ shows an option in the screenshots to “hide related content after posts” or to “show related content after posts”. These options do not exist for me.
The only options I do have after the “Related” section are checkboxes to “Show a “Related” header to more clearly separate the related section from posts” and a “Use a large and visually striking layout”. I can uncheck both, but it only results in the related titles only being shown after each post. What’s going on? Why don’t have the radio buttoned option to turn them on and off?
Please help! Thank you!
