Hi! For security purposes, I *do not* want the author of a testimonial to be included in the HTML generated for a testimonial. Since there’s no way to identify the author of a testimonial, I would like to prevent the author from appearing in the HTML entirely.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @tomdkat,

    Thank you for reaching out!
The single testimonial page is not generate by this plugin – it’s a theme template.
You’d need to copy the single.php template and rename the copy to single-wpm-testimonial.php and remove the code that adds the author from there.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

Great! Thanks! Will “single-wpm-testimonial” be automatically recognized by Strong Testimonials?

    Thanks again!

    Peace…

Yes, that’s correct – it will be recognized as your single testimonial page.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

One last question: I’m using a child theme. Do I copy single.php from my parent theme, save it in the directory of my child theme, and then rename it?

    Thanks!
