• Hello everyone

So my rankings dropped recently out of nowhere and I had to get to the root of it. My on-page SEO is to the point, offpage is also good as I focus on getting quality links monthly.

However, someone might have not liked my small world and used bots to put my rankings down. What I see is that several websites link to my search pages with porno or dating websites as keywords. For example, they’ll link to https://www.mywebsite.com/

    search/????www.datetrue.xyz????dating+your+girlfriends+sister+name+????+DATING+SITE

I have over 150k of such links now. Don’t know how to remove them. I tried to disavow some of them.. But they are too many for a single person to get rid of. Need your help.
My website is based on WordPress.

I thought of banning the search pages that consisted of certain text (this could help) but couldn’t find a plugin to do that.

Would love the help of the community.

There are a number of do not index sort of directives, but compliance is optional. I seriously doubt sites that create such results will comply. You can block their bots by user agent or IP address with .htaccess directives. You’d have to glean such data from your access logs.

IIRC, there’s a way to bulk disavow links in Google. It involves submitting a file formatted in a very specific, structured manner.

I can’t imagine what anyone would have to gain from such behavior. I’m sorry to hear of your troubles.
