help needed – file_get_contents error

  • Hi all, this is my first post and am in need of some expert help as I am a complete wordpress novice. I have managed to create a website that consists of a home page, project portfolio pages and another page that contains my bio and picture. I have now notice that this bio page no longer loads and in my dashboard I am seeing the following error message.

    file_get_contents(/home/dancla44/danclarkecreates.com/wp-content/themes/uber/css/help44.php) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/dancla44/danclarkecreates.com/wp-includes/class-wp-theme.php on line 993

    I have no real HTML knowledge and dont even know how to access the code that sits behind my site so am hoping someone can assist in fixing this issue to get this page back online.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
