• Hi all,

I have set-up the following website https://www.camot.org using a Twitter Bootstrap theme.

However, I have noticed that when I view the website in versions of Internet Explorer I am getting all kinds of problems.

IE6 causes all kinds of structural issues, and IE9 affects the gradient colour as well as the style of buttons.

Any ideas on what is causing this?

    Thanks,

    Ross

  • Please fix that hyperlink.

You have some errors. Those always make cross-browser issues more likely.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about IE6. Even Microsoft has abandoned it.

There may be other issues with IE9 but you mentioned the gradient. In the header, you are using “-moz-linear-gradient”. That is a Mozilla (Firefox) specific extension, hence the “-moz-” prefix. It doesn’t work in webkit browsers (Chrome and Safari) or IE. There might be an IE equivalent but I don’t know it off the top of my head.

Thanks for the response. I’m not sure why the hyperlink isn’t working, I would edit it but not sure how.

This is the working url. https://www.camot.org

Thanks for your help, I will search for an IE gradient equivalent.
