Help! Need to Start Again

  • My friend runs a charitable website via WP. The guy who predominantly ran the site for her has unfortunately passed away. We have no idea what he used for the site – “pages” in WP doesn’t seem to reflect the website and after a few attempts at working it all out, none of us has a clue! it was decided probably best to start from scratch but we have no idea how to do this. I’ve had a little look on the forum (there are so many posts hard to get through them all) but it looks like of restarts including downloading plug ins that cost money, and being a charitable organisation we are trying to keep costs as minimal as possible. Is there an EASY and FREE way of getting rid of the website and starting again (we are tech novices)? The onyl thing we’d want to keep are all the photographs stored in media.

  • Do you have the website url? You should be able to find it that way.

    We can get into WordPress, just no idea how to update anything on there as the rest of us only know hoe to update pages, and whatever was previously done, is not under pages, that’s why we’d like to start from scratch
