• My website: https://www.steve-perkins.com has been hacked, to the point where I can’t access my admin panel or anything else, even trying to access my FTP using Filezilla says it cannot connect. Although I will admit I haven’t used filezilla since I first started my site 4 years ago so I don’t know if that stuff changes. I’m so angry/frustrated/confused. What should I do? Why would someone do this?

OK I’ve gotten into my FTP. The index.php is all messed up, however when I replace it with my backed up index.php I get “
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/steveper/public_html/index.php on line 1″

under my ftp all my .php files are named wp-blog-header.php and etc.php but in my back up file from a week ago everything is just header.php not the wp part in front
