    Site: Rift Watchers

    Hi,

    I’ve been working with the Cover WP theme with the help of the theme author, but he seems to be unavailable at the moment (and I’m kind of embarrassed to keep coming back with more questions). I’ve modified the theme so that the headline box now shows a full, properly formatted post. The only problem is the post title link turns the mouse into a cursor and clicking on it does nothing. I have a feeling this is something simple. Can anyone tell me what I’d need to change to make it an active link?

    Clicking on the comment count to access the post shows that the single post page has a properly working title link.

    Thanks,
    Chris

  • In index.php you need to set the post-title link to:

    <a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>">

    at the moment it is only:

    <a rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>">

    which is why its a link, but not going anywhere
