Help – my custom Loop breaks the Page Title

Hi,

I am building a site on Thematic Theme Framework, with a custom child theme.

On one page, I have customized the page template for a page entitled “Technical Archive.”

The template I wrote calls the typical static content; after that it rolls the posts that appear in a specific category “Technology.”

The problem is, my loop code seems to break the Page Title. Instead of Technical Archive showing up in the title, I get the category title instead.

Any ideas on what might fix this? I have installed Platinum SEO to help with customizing page titles, and it doesn’t work.
