Help! Missing page after deleting redirect

I used a redirect for an obtuse page name (https://seeleyjames.com/books redirected to long, obtuse name). I recently upgraded my site and created a new page with the url https://seeleyjames.com/books and deleted the irrelevant redirect and the old page.

But now if you use that URL you go to the home page. What did I mess up?
