Correct placement of logo

I know nothing about coding or anything first off lets get that out of the way. I am helping re build my mothers site from what it was to a new site and I am just about done.

With some help and a update I have been able to get everthing done but in this a issue has come up.

you will see that I have put the “header” (what its called in the theme) as her logo and this will be the first thing people see when going to the site. when you click around to other pages you see the house image in its proper place. on the /wordpress it’s right on top of the logo. the theme calls it “logo” and I know why it is doing what it is doing.

My question is how to I make the one on the /wordpress vanish but yet keep it where it is above the social buttons on the left.

Please help again I know nothing about this and I am just about done.
