    Hi guys!

I hope to get a quick reply on this because it’s driving me insane!
I’m using Elementor Pro (the latest version) and OceanWP as my base template. Every time I create a new page I get this annoying “Leave a reply / comment box” below my content just before my footer. I can’t find any switch to deactivate it or any way to remove it from my pages!! Why is it there? Please someone save my day and help me asap! I need to get site up and running.

Another question about “Page attributes” in the “edit page” page. Elementor guys said that I should always use the “default template” after their recent updates to Elementor. I do have the options for “Elementor Canvas” and “Elementor Full Width” too. WHy are they there and should I just egnore them and use the default template?

Don’t make topic titles like “HELP me asap!” that’s not cool.

I’m using Elementor Pro (the latest version) and OceanWP

Try and keep it about this theme. If your topic goes into Elementor Pro then it will get closed with a note like this.

    Try this plugin.

Just as the name says, it enforces no comments in pages. It does other neat things too but it should do what you want.

    Hi Jan!

Sorry for the topic. I didn’t know how to title it.
Thanks for the suggestion and link to the plugin. I will try it.
However.. is this the way to go with OceanWP? I mean are everyone facing the same thing. Every time you create a new page, you will get the comment box over the footer? Seems really stupid. Why would anyone want to have a comment box on every page.. aren’t those meant to be in blog pages?! Care to share your thoughts? ??

    Aha!

    ***SOLVED***

I discovered I had somehow turned on the comments and it can be disabled through the “quick edit” of an page. Have a look at the video below.

No need for another plugin. At least not now. ?? Thanks for the help anyway.
