Linkshare ad code not rendering ads in Twenty Thirteen sidebar

  • Cannot see Linkshare ad code’s ad images in sidebar in the secondary widget area (sidebar).

    -Using Twenty Thirteen theme
    -Attempted different widths of ads
    -Attempted html text in footer widget area; worked (don’t want ads there, only attempted for troubleshooting)
    -Other widgets appear
    -Did not have this issue before updating to Twenty Thirteen

    Help is greatly appreciated!

  • What is the code that you are using in the widget area? Is it a plugin that Linkshare provides? Have you tried to use this code with other themes?

    It’s not a plugin; it’s just HTML text to insert affiliate ads. Here’s an example of what I’m trying to save (entering the HTML creates a link when saving, so I’ve uploaded a screen cap of the code)

    Is it being used right now on your site? I’m curious to see what may be happening when using dev tools because from the outside the code looks fine.

    Hey there,

    I had deleted the code since it wasn’t working, but it’s saved in the sidebar widget area, again. Feel free to take a look; I’m curious as to what you’ll see!

    So tell me where the code actually is? I see a bunch of stuff in the sidebar but be specific as to where it should be and make sure that you don’t have it deleted.

    I am also attempting to use linkshare HTML:

    And it will not show up when I copy and paste it into the Text Widget. Other Ads from commission junction show up just fine.
