• Hi,
I have spent several hours looking online what might be the cause/solution for this problem but I haven’t seen anyone struggling with this yet. Hopefully someone can help me and explain me what I should do!
I previously used mqtranslate and recently switched to Qtranslate-x. It all seemed fine. I also downloaded this plugin, but noticed that anytime I posted something new, the SEO plugin said that my keywords were not found.
If I look into it they are shown like this [:en]travel looks[:nl]travel looks[:] instead of normally. The funny thing is, that it works just fine with my old posts and the keywords are shown without the brackets. What causes this and how can I resolve it? Please help me! Thank you in advance.

  • Hi,

I love this plugin and all seems to work fine except for similar issues that GRABYOURBAGS seems to be experiencing.

Since qtranslate-x saves the titles like this:
    [en]welcome[fr]bonjour

Seems like Yoast can’t correctly figure out the focus keyword usage.

Also, the snippet previews keeps it in one language, regardless if we switch back and forth between languages in a page.

    thanks

Try using a different focus keyword for each language, seems like this works now.
