• I have installed the wordpress onto blog.landtrustsmadesimple.com. However, when you first enter the address it shows you a white page with “Invalid access to memory location.” on it. If you refresh the page about 3-4 times, the blog then pops up.

WHAT IS GOING ON? I have access to the server via FTP and Control panel. I cannot find any help on this.

  • When did this occur? Are you just setting up the site? Are the folders chmod’ed to 755 and the files to 644?

I’m not sure exactly what the problem is, but it seems like it may be the hosts fault. You may want to contact them and see what’s up.

actually, you are getting a 500 error – a server problem of some kind

Ok, so I was talking to the other person in this project and he did some searching on here and found that wordpress does not like subdomains as much. So I am moving it to https://www.landtrustsmadesimple.com/blog maybe that will take care of the issue. The next step will be to look at the permissions.

Ok, so I moved the site to https://www.landtrustsmadesimple.com/blog. Now I am not getting the error. I think the sub domain setup is a little underdeveloped on my server host. He is a great designer and it looks like he built this one as a custom host. I don’t see any tags in the site that give any company credit.
