• I recently downloaded and set up mailchimp. I downloaded my e-mail subscribers as a CSV and imported them to mailchimp. However, I have about 200 followers through WordPress (people who have WordPress blogs and hit”follow”). I am presuming there is no way to transfer them over to mailchimp as well is that correct?
So I am using Jetpack which sends e-mail notifications out to my WordPress followers which I want to keep happening. However, those e-mail subscribers are now getting posts from both Jetpack and Mailchimp which I’m sure is annoying to them. If I “remove” them as e-mail subscribers from my Jetpack list will that unsubscribe them completely from both services or just from Jetpack?
Also, when a new account puts in their email address will they be signed up via jetpack or mailchimp? Help!

The only way to do so is by downloading that CSV from Jetpack and importing it into MailChimp, there is currently no automation for this.

Removing them from Jetpack will have no effect on MailChimp. You can also completely disable Jetpack’s subscription system, without affecting MailChimp, at Jetpack > Settings > Engagement in your site’s Dashboard.

Also, when a new account puts in their email address will they be signed up via jetpack or mailchimp?

If they signup using Jetpack’s subscription form, they will be signed up for subscription emails from Jetpack.

If they signup using MailChimp’s subscription form, they will be signed up for subscription emails from MailChimp.

Is it possible to use the jetpack comment form but use the mailchimp subscribe plugin and emailing features? I already have mailchimp set up and I do not want to have 2 subscriber lists.

To clarify, I want to use the jetpack comment form and use that check box that is at the bottom of the comment form that allows them to subscribe, but I would want them to go on my mailchimp list and not the jetpack list.
