[SOSSS] I deleted all the files in my tmp folder and WP are broken

  • Hello as the title says, i deleted all the files inside the .cagefs folder – tmp folder but now i noticed that some of my websites are broken and the host wont respond.

    Any fix for this?

    Probably my host did something because inside tmp folder inside cagefs folder i can see this file which werent after i deleted all the tmp files

    “mysql.sock”

    and my websites areworking again.

    What are these tmp files and why SOME and not all of my websites were broken and down instead of the entire shared server?

    Usually the tmp directory stores temporary files related to the server itself, rather than your website, and it is not advisable to remove them yourself.

    I would suggest checking directly with your hosting provider in regards to what happened and whether it is safe to delete those files in the future.
