my website files were maliciously deleted by someone …and I’m a novice who can’t bear the thought of trying to rebuild the whole thing

Does that happen every time? i.e. Does it happen if you try again?

The log suggests that something else tried to update WP at the same time and deleted the files UD was working on when it tried to do so.

I think originally there was a error about parsing the package ?
I will delete wordpress and reinstall try again and report back if that makes sense ?

    Hi,

Were you able to attempt the restoration again?

If so, please could you send us a copy of the log?
This can be found in the wp-content/updraft directory of the site, via FTP or your hosting filemanger.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here
