Help! I can’t change the project visibility to public

I did find this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23138790/wordpress-content-visibility-set-to-private-and-cant-change-it-to-public while seeking a solution. I checked my wp-admin/includes/‘meta-boxes.php file, and these lines are correct:

$visibility = 'private';
$visibility_trans = __('Private');

To be honest, this doesn’t look like an issue with the theme because it doesn’t control the visibility of the posts. That’s a default WordPress feature.

Also, you should never edit core files directly because all your modifications will be gone after the next WordPress update.

If you did any modifications in the past, try reinstalling WordPress and see if the issue with private posts is resolved.

If it doesn’t help, try disabling all the plugins and text again.
