I used this plugin to keep a maintenance page up while i was working on my site logged in as admin, but by a mistake i logged myself out and now i cant get back in!
it doesnt work to write /wp-admin/ after URL, it keeps throwing me on maintenance page.
also removed the option to see that wordpress menu on top if you are non-admin

    Found the solution
For those who with similar problems: I just went into C-panel (using hostgator)
Choose ‘file manager’ then web root(public.html) inside i opened
wp-content/plugin and deleted the maintenance plugin manually.
After 5-10 minutes everything was back up, and easy pie maintenance plugin was gone.

I’m sorry to hear the plugin didn’t work out for you but glad that you got into your site. If you don’t mind me asking, do you have “Theme my Login” plugin installed or something else that does login redirection? I’ve seen issues interference between Maintenance Mode and that class of plugin which I’m working on a fix for. Thanks

Yes I am using Theme my login, so maybe thats the reason I couldnt get in.
Im still planning to use the maintenance plugin, just have to be careful and NOT log out while i work. Also a fix for this would be great ??
    Thanks anyway.

Hi Cloudpainter – I found out why there is an incompatibility between Theme My Login and Maintenance Mode. In short, TML redirects the admin login to a real page on the site thus Maintenance Mode blocks it. The good news is there is an easy workaround.

To access admin simply use wp-login.php instead of wp-admin.

    For example use: https://mysite.com/wp-login.php

Thanks again for clarifying your system configuration.
