How would you accomplish it with WP?

  • I would like to create a site similar to:
    https://bucketlist.org/featured/

    Basically, a site that:
    – Has items that members can add to their own lists
    – Member’s personal page

    I guess this would mean the need for some social networking plugin, and I’ve explored a few (BuddyPress, WP Symposium, etc). but none seem to allow you to add items to a personal list.

    I feel like this can be done with WP. I just don’t know how (yet).

    Anyone able to throw some ideas/suggestions my way regarding some possible plugins?
    Or am I completely off the mark and this is something that is not suited for WP?
    Either way, I will be most grateful to hear any insight you might have!
