Hi, I’ve installed Register Plus, changed contact fields “website” to “QQ” and “Jabber / Google” to “MSN”…these worked fine on the registration page (https://www.flight88.com/wp-login.php?action=register) but after registering and going to the user profile page the original fields are still there (i.e. ‘website’ and not ‘QQ’; ‘jabber/google’ and not ‘msn’). Also, on the user profile page under ‘website’ it automatically adds the “https://” … how do I get rid of that? I’m guessing I have to find a file “user_contact_methods” or a file that contains that information…I tried really hard to do everything myself but I just can’t find the sources to make the proper changes. Can anybody help?

I should also add that I am using the “blueclouds” theme, with many modifications.

Same issue here, original fields are in the profile.

How do we “force” register plust to update field options for the profiles?

    Thanks.

Oops… There are check boxes in the admin section that facilitate this!

f88, how did you change the contact fields, could you explain? I installed register plus, but I don’t see a way to change them, so if you did it manually, I would appreciate knowing how you did it. Thanks in advance!

There are check boxes in the admin section that facilitate this. Click on the checkboxes and type the field names into the text fields.

It’s easy to overlook that section in the plugin config. But if your read every line, you’ll realize it was simply overlooked. ??
