Help hosting

  • wow, that sucks… just wrote this long post and it got deleted cause of a server issue… but i digress…
    i will shorten this up… would someone be nice enough to allow me to use a small chunk of their server to host my wordpress blog. i just need 1 database and probably less than 20 mb of storage space.
    https://www.martz.shyper.com is where my current blog is at and they are removing their free service option.
    i do not advertise for money, and my site will not require a lot of traffic because only I am the only one who posts on it, and my friends are the only ones that view it. hopefully you will help a poor college student out
    if someone would want me to place a small ad or link back to their site (or blog or whatever) i am sure that that could be arranged

    p.s. the problem with that post was that the apostrophes were not working… i deleted them all (after several attempts) and it worked, so someone may want to check on that

    Well, all I can really suggest is https://funpic.org/
    unlimited bandwidth (as logn as it’s reasonable’, only real problems are:
    +allow_url_fopen is set to off, for security reasons. So far the only thing I can’t do is install the plugin manager and auto-update my block list.
    +I apparently have problems with transparent images, but that might just be some other code not related to the host.

    Overall, best ones out there I think. 99.9 percent uptime, php and mysql, ftp, no ads, no forum-posting requirements. And it’s free ??
    Sorry if this isn’t what you’re looking for, not to sharp on these things unfortunately. ^_^;;
