Help:: Homepage is not changing to a post or a particular page

Hey guys i found this issue after installing a template to my wordpress test site. please take a look at the homepage its showing black, actually i created a full page of description and pics and put that as my homepage but those details are not showed on the homepage.

https://goo.gl/RHcy6vWhen i click edit from the top bar it takes to that particular page. seems like its bit strange. any ideas?
