• After activating plugin my website traffic dropped 90%

My question is Does the new AMP plugin uses canonical reference ?

Does your plugin tell the browser an AMP page is a version of a full-fledged HTML page. As we don’t want any duplicate content penalty, does the plugin declare that page as canonical.

  • Open your AMP pages in your browser and look at the page source. Is there a -link rel=”canonical” – line? If so, does it point to the non-AMP post?

If both are true, it can’t be a problem of canonical reference.

Did your AMP pages validate both in Google search Console and in Chrome?

Russin Yandex search engine already give me more then 10 hits to amp pages not from mobile devies.

So, yes for some searchengines, it is duplicate contente, so at first time it’s good to give amp pages only to google useragent

and rel canonical present, but anyway…
