help for changing colors?

    How can I change background color of all posts and also I want to change color of the posts excerpts that show in home page and color of the items that show in the right side bar. They are very dull looking.

    this is an extensive css question, more like a customization question.
    i cannot guide you through all design style css edits. you need to edit the style.css yourself, should be a good learning curve rather.

    okay, at least tell me how to change all posts title font to italic?

    add this to theme option->custom css

    #custom h2.post-title, #custom h1.post-title { font-style: italic; }
