Help for a custom home page

  • Hi. I’m not the best in WordPress, so I tried without any success.
    What I’m trying to do is create a custom home page with 9 box (3 rows/ 3 columns). I have some pluging that I bought ( Gravity forms,etc.) but can do it properly. I have installed also
    “Live Composer Add-on -Per Page Content Widthè,
    “Page Builder: Live Composer – drag and drop website builder”

    In each box, I would like to be able to link an article or post just by adding the link of the article

    It has to be look like this

    Box 1, Box 2, Box 3 Widget1

    Box 4, Box 5, Box 6 Widget2

    Box 7, Box 8, Box 9 Widget3

    Anyone can help me ?

  • One way to do it would be to register three new widget areas, then use css to style them in rows.

    There’s probably a plugin for that if you’re not comfortable editing the functions file.

    Hi mydog8bit and thanks for your reply… It would be a very good idea if you a small basic in .php or .css. Last time I had to program something it was in Cobol, FORTRAN or Pascal… ?? I lost all !! when you are not working since 34-35 years… That’s why I like plugins… At the end, I’m sure I will save some big headache. ??

    I wouldn’t say how to start with this code… ?? … ??
