Help footer.php edit theme and get error

  • Sir i have edit a theme named back2school free theme but after editing footer links that was licence creative common licenced now i am unable to access my site even wp-admin dashboard

    and facing this message ( This theme is released under creative commons licence, all links in the footer should remain intact )

    please anyone help me .

  • Try to back up that file and everything will be ok. You can download that theme again and upload footer.php to back2school theme’s directory.

    but sir i have download same theme but footer information has been changed by developers of this theme after replacing footer.php with new file i am still unable to access wp-admin of this site and site showing the same error give above.

    Your best bet will be to use a theme provided here or at one of the listed Commercial Theme providers. They do not make themes that do such things.

    Delete your theme directory, log in and then reinstall it. I think your theme had encrypted footer links, so it caused that problem.
