HELP. fatal error after updating self-hosted wp, can't login…

I have previously posted this error, but it got lost in the shuffle…if I could possibly get a reply to the update below.

Hello everyone. thanks for reading.
I just did an update on my site: https://www.JerryKuzma.com, I am not positive of my current version, as I cannot login.

here is the warning I got:

Warning: require_once(/home/makemon6/public_html/wp-admin/includes/screen.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/makemon6/public_html/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 37

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/makemon6/public_html/wp-admin/includes/screen.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/makemon6/public_html/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 37

I host my own site. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders. Download a fresh copy of wp. Extract wp-admin and wp-inludes folders and upload them to the server. DO NOT touch the wp-content folder.

thanks for the reply.

I tried what you said, but when I try to delete the two folders, I get an error message…. permission denied.

Any advice? Is it a problem with read/write permission on the folders or something?
