Help Fatal Error

    I recently got kicked off my website due to a fatal error and it will not let me log back in. The error is :
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /home/content/66/11433266/html/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1281

    What do I do? Please help as myself and other users of the site cannot log in or fix it.

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    Ok the problem with that is I have been logging in straight from the web and I did not download WP I installed it through GoDaddy. How does that change my approach?

    Got it sorted I went into the ftp and found the corrupt plugin and deleted it. Thank you
