Help – Error when trying to connect analytics

  • Hi,

    I have successfully set this plugin up on ‘https://wits.uk/’. However when trying to connect analytics on https:’//timwhitnell.co.uk/’ it comes up with an error after I click ‘configure analytics’ > ‘proceed’. The error is ‘timwhitnell.co.uk’ redirected you too many times.’ I’ve waited days and tried again multiple times. Please help.

    Hi Joel,

    Thanks for reaching out and providing details of what’s occurring. If you can share the following we’d be happy to investigate this for you.

    1. On your timwhitenell.co.uk site can you share whether you migrated this site previously, or used a backup and restore plugin?
    2. Can you share your Site Health information and we can inspect your setup? You can use this form to share privately if preferred.

    If you did migrate your site from elsewhere and Site Kit was previously connected (although on another domain) you may wish to reset the plugin (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit). Just note that this will disconnect Site Kit for all users previously connect, and you’ll have to once again go through the setup process.
