• Hello,

I am trying to fix a friends website and there is an error message and won’t allow login to the wp-admin page to fix the issue.

The Error message at the bottom of the page says this: Apache Server Port 80

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    ————————

How do I log in to their WordPress site to be able to help them? Please advise! I would greatly appreciate any help that will assist in getting this site running again.

Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

Had to ask the Host Site for help in disabling a certain file to be able to log in to the Admin Dashboard. So far theme is disabled, but I am at least able to access the WP dashboard
