    Hello –

this is in regards to the error
The Google Authenticator code is incorrect or has expired.

I use Google Auth on 4 of my websites. Been working fine for 3 months. This morning I was unable to get into any of them.

    I have synced the times
I have checked the server times
I tried to rename the folder (breaks site)
Then I uninstalled the Google app thinking that that was the issue. In doing that I lost the credentials to all 4 sites. Now I HAVE to remove the Plugin

Problem is – I can’t – FTP will not allow me to delete the folder – renaming it breaks my site.

I need help.. I am going to lose 100s of hours of work – please help me.

  • Hi,

I guess you should connect to your mySQL database, via phpmyadmin and then disable the plugin by updating the right field.

    Hope this help,

    steven

I figured it out! I also used the “Google Authenticator – Per User Prompt” – Plugin. When I renamed the Google Auth plugin, it broke that functionality. Once I renamed them both – everything was fixed!

Thank you Suncoding foe your suggestion. I appreciate your response.
