Help designing blog structure

Hi,

I want to make a blog of the books I’ve read. I want the home page to have a list of books, and I want to be able to have posts for each individual book. For example, the main page will have books A, B, & C. Clicking each one will open up a mini-blog of that book, with my progress and review updates.
If I start a new book, I’d like to create a new post on the main page, which will create Boot D, and a mini blog for book D that I can add new posts to. Can you please help? How should I do this? Is there a plugin that can help? I’d like to avoid just using tags, and I notice there is no way to have posts for pages.
