Help deleting original user

    The username on my www.remarpro.com blog account is wrong. I know I can’t change it so what I did was add a new user with a different email address. The help instructions say to do this and then delete the unwanted user. When I attempt to do so I get the following error message:

    “You have specified this user for deletion:

    ID #1: [email protected] The current user will not be deleted.
    There are no valid users selected for deletion.”

    Can anyone help me? Here are the steps I took.
    1. Created a new user with unique username and email address
    2. Made new user an admin
    3. Selected to delete my original user which was incorrect

    Is it possible that we can not ever delete the original user we used to sign up for the account?
