Help Creating Static Page that is not linked in menu

  • Hello,

    For my site I need to be able to create static pages for individual authors bio and links. If I use the “Pages” function of WordPress then those new pages appear in the top bar navigation that the theme Violinesth Forever uses. I do not want that.

    What I want is to be able to have those static pages and have a separate menu in the right column.

    Is this possible?

    I have used the text/html widget to get an approximation of the vertical list menu that I would like in the righthand column.

    Once again the theme I am running is Violinesth

  • You need to learn to use the menu manager in wordpress.
    “Appearance / Menus” and you will need toselect which menu is chosen with some themes.

    Yet you will only see the “Menus” if you are an admin role, not anything less.
