Help! #container problem somewhere in one of my page templates!

I need help! I was attempting to insert an image slider up under the banner of my site(its a transparent .png). Somewhere along the way I realized I was cutting and pasting an extra piece of css ( <div id=”container” etc…) while I was making shots in the dark as to where it might go.

Eventually the goal is to get the rotating banner to sit under the transparent logo/banner in the header. But as you will see the container code looks to be spewing white all over the page(haha)!

Can anyone help?
