Help! – Conflict between Theme & jQuery Nivo Slider Plugin

Hello,

Just get the WP Nivo Slider plugin (1.8.1) and installed it with a simple theme I created. The WordPress version I have is 3.4.2. The slider doesn’t work with my theme. I switched to the default Twenty Eleven theme and the slider works fine.

Can someone give me some pointers as to how to make my theme work with the jQuery Nivo Slider? I replaced my theme’s header with Twenty Eleven’s, but that didn’t work. I suspect my theme is not compatible with jQuery.
