Hi Wordfence team,I am currently using WooCommerce alongside the Wordfence plugin on my site, but I am facing an issue where the Wordfence Recaptcha is interfering with my ultimate member plugin user login. The Recaptcha is constantly blocking users from logging in or registering through the Ultimate Member forms. Is there a way to disable Wordfence Recaptcha specifically for the Ultimate Member plugin without affecting the rest of my site’s security? Alternatively, can I disable the Recaptcha just for the login and registration pages while keeping it active elsewhere? This issue is affecting user experience, and I have also asked to the ultimate member plugin support, and they replied “ask the Wordfence support to exclude forms, our plugin use our own recapthca for protection. Maybe Wordfence intgrate own code to forms”. I kindly request your urgent assistance in resolving this problem, and let me know how I can resolve this or what actions you can take to help fix this conflict.Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter.

    Hi @someone3210,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Our reCAPTCHA and 2FA are currently designed to be compatible with the default WordPress and WooCommerce logins and may not be compatible with your custom login flow.

As Ultimate Member offers their own reCAPTCHA solution for logging in, you should consider disabling Wordfence’s reCAPTCHA. It is possible to run Wordfence with the Login Security module disabled so that you can still benefit from our site scans and real-time protection.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,
    Margaret

“”It is possible to run Wordfence with the Login Security module disabled so that you can still benefit from our site scans and real-time protection””, – yeah, but what about wpadmin’s login security, captcha and its brute force protection?

    Hi @someone3210,

Thanks for following up! When you disable our reCAPTCHA, you’re only turning off the reCAPTCHA specifically. If our two-factor authentication (2FA) works well with your custom login flow, you can continue using it. The Wordfence firewall will also still provide brute force protection on your site, as well as all of its normal protections.

Wordfence’s reCAPTCHA is applied specifically to the WordPress and WooCommerce login and registration pages. You’ve indicated that these pages are already protected by Ultimate Member’s reCAPTCHA. You only need one of these plugins to handle the reCAPTCHA checks, since both serve the same purpose: to determine whether a visitor is a human or a bot.

    Thanks,
    Margaret
