Help – Can't Login To Amin Anymore

At a guess, you broke the PHP in that header.php file…

Do you have a copy of your theme or even a backup?

Using FTP or whatever file management tools your host has provided you with replace the theme files that you’ve modified with fresh copies.

Or if you cannot get that then navigate to the wp-content/themes/your-theme-directory and delete that one theme directory. Just that one and nothing else.

Then immediately visit https://simplythreetrio.com/wp-admin/themes.php and you should see a message saying that your theme cannot be found and it will switch you to the Twenty Eleven theme.

Okay, so I deleted my theme, then visited the link you provided, and voila. There I was back at my dashboard, at the Twenty Eleven Theme. I opened a new tab and visited my home page, and there it was, nice and quick, in the Twenty Eleven theme.

So I thought: great! Let me just upload a fresh copy of my theme (found it from back in March), upload it, and then update the CSS manually from my backup.

Well, I uploaded the fresh copy of the theme, and I clicked “live preview” and it pulled up the preview panel-but the page was blank. So I just figured it was a glitch. Went back, clicked “Activate Theme,” and it was activated. I noticed that all my presets and settings were back as I had them (stored in my database, right?). I thought, wow, magic!

But then I opened a new tab to look at it – and it didn’t load. It came up with a “cannot connect to simplythreetrio.com” error message.

I decided I needed to try it again, so I deleted the theme again, quickly visited the link you gave me to themes – but this time with no luck. It came up with the error message again.

Now it pulls up blank pages all the time….

Can you get that theme from the source? Not you backup but from the place you’ve originally downloaded that from?

Yes, I tried that too. I just re-downloaded a fresh one. But I can’t sign in to my admin panel to try it…It just loads a blank page.

UPDATE:
I deleted “Theme My Login,” which was trying to redirect the login page to a wordpress page. Then, I installed the freshly downloaded theme. I was able to login, now through the wordpress login page.

The theme is active, and I am logged into the dashboard, but the front end of the website still isn’t loading anything. It literally displays nothing when I try to see any page on my website….Then when I refresh the blank page, it works…It’s very strange.

Clear local browser cache and flush dns

I cleared browser cache and flushed the dns, and it seemed to work at first. But then I logged in. When I am logged into my dashboard, and I click “visit site,” expecting to see the front end of my site with my admin header toolbar – it crashes. It doesn’t load, and we’re back to square one. Yes, I can see my site when I’m not logged in, and yes, I can “edit” my site. But something is just screwy. This is not right…

I dunno how this got marked as resolved, but it’s not quite yet.

Now you cannot see my site at all, even from the front end. I can still login to my admin dashboard, but the site is not working. This is quite frustrating. Chrome still gives that “No data recieved” error 324.

Should I just literally delete everything and start over? I have everything backed up from a few days ago.

There’s obviously other files than the theme files that are affected. Should I try a new database? I am willing to do the work – whatever it takes – I just want to figure out what to do.

This is happening to me also. I have deactivated all plug-ins manually to still no avail. This is WP issue maybe? It’s maddening. Help us gurus please! Thank you.
