HELP: Can't add categories! :(

  • Hi everyone,

    so I guess I must be doing something wrong here. But I can’t find out what.
    I want to create different categories for my posts.
    So I created a name, a slug, a description etc but it doesn’t work ??

    The categorie sometimes appears on the right side , but as soon as I’m leaving the page it’s gone.
    I also can’t find them when I’m writing a post and want to add to the post to a certain categorie. There are no categories there to be found.

    When I try to add the categorie again, it says the categorie already exists??

    Is there someone who knows what might be the problem? Or what I’m missing here ??

  • Are the categories being created? In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Posts > Categories, and see if they are listed there.

    Hi Rhys, thanx for responding! I’ve tried to create them in the way I should. But it didn’t work. There are not listed.

    Are they not listed in the Posts > Categories?

    Could you add a category in there (by going to Posts > Categories page and filling in the “Add New” Section)?
